The Test (Link X Reader X Ghirahim Modern! AU)

"Uuuuuuuuggggggghhhhhhh!!" You cried in pain. It was that time of the month...again. Pain, cramps, and like Ed Sheeran says, 'Blood in the breeze'. Well, maybe not literally but that's how it felt for you.

And what a better way to spend this week of pain...by having your two friends Link and Ghirahim take care of you.

"Oh joy." You thought to yourself, your voice dripping with sarcasm.

"Hi (Name)." Link smiled happily as he walked into your front room, where you were currently curled up, under blankets, watching a movie. It was Disney's Hercules, which was one of your favorites.

"Hello dear (Name)." Ghirahim said silkily as he entered the room with much more graceful flair than Link did, which you didn't care about.

"Hi." Was all you said grouchily back. You didn't even look at them.

"...Uh, are you okay? Zelda told us and everything that-" Link started talking.

"Oh, you foolish boy. You will never understand the true nature of women." Ghirahim said, draping an arm over his head and resting a hand of Link's shoulder, then swooning back dramatically. "She's simply in a bad mood-"

"Because my organs and shredding and then pouring it out of my geni-"

"Because she is bleeding." Ghirahim finished grumpily. Link simply stood in confusion.

"But don't worry, dear, we are here to take care of you." Ghirahim said, patting you on the head.

"First of all, stop talking and get out before I attack you, and second of all, stop talking to me and Link as if we are just kids." You complained.

"Fine." Ghirahim said, and sauntered into the room next door.

"Sure." Link said, stepping into the same room as Ghirahim. As soon as they thought they were out of your earshot, they glared at each other.

"And we'll also see who's worthy of the beauty." Ghirahim growled, loud enough for you to hear it.

You burst into laughter, and they both peered around the door to look at you.

"Oh really? You're both crushing on me and want to fight over me?" You asked, smiling at them.

They both nodded.

You sat up straight, a smirk written over your features. "Well, how about a contest?"

They both grinned eagerly and walked into the room.

"Whoever can take care of me the best-help the pain, bring me my food, buy me my supplies for the blood, will win a prize." You smiled. "It involves me."

Both of them blinked. "Does it involve undressing?" Ghirahim smirked.

"You idiot!! I can't do that because I'm bleeding you--!!" You exclaimed, your cheeks bright red. "Anyway, it wouldn't have involved that. Let's not go there."

"Then what is the-"

"The contest begins now." You stated. Both of them just stood in front of you for about 10 seconds.

"What do you need?" Link asked.

"Oh yeah-I'm not gonna tell you. You just have to guess." You said, folding your arms over your chest. "Now let me watch the movie-it's the bit where Hercules has to fight the monster."

The day was very interesting.

You're sitting on your sofa, a few chocolate boxes sitting around you. You have a nice heated blanket around your stomach which was making the pain ease away slowly. Now it was the final little 'test'.

See if they know what pads and tampons actually look like.

A small part of you prayed that Link would know and Ghirahim would be a idiot. Ghirahim was different. Not really your type. Link is the kind of guy you would like to date. Plus, he is so more attractive than Ghirahim.

The front door swung open, and you could hear two voices arguing. Rolling your eyes, the door slammed shut and Link and Ghirahim stepped into the room.

"What did you buy?" You asked them.

Link handed you a large packet of extra thick pads. That's good, maybe you might stop bleeding through your bed sheets when you sleep now. Ghirahim, on the other hand--

"You idiot."

"What?"

"These are condoms."

You heard Link trying to stifle a laugh.

"What difference does it make?"

"You use the condoms, I use the pads and tampons. Gosh, I didn't think it would be so difficult for you."

You thrust the box back to him, and smiled.

"Well, the winner is Link." You smiled with glee. Link beamed back at you, Ghirahim on the other hand had already stormed out the door.

"What's the, uh, prize?" He asked. Smirking, you grabbed his hand and pulled him down onto the sofa so that he was pressed next to you. Your bodies were flush against each other, and Link's face was bright red until you turned it into a hug.

"...I get to cuddle with you?"

"Yep."
