Calloused hands gently skimmed over the fabric of her slightly swollen stomach. A smile was etched into his lips, his crystal blue eyes softening at the thought of becoming a father.

"Hello, little hero," He whispered, still smiling. "I know you're gonna do so well one day. You're gonna be capable of such great things. Just like your father."

He smiled as he saw his wife sigh and shift slightly in her seat. All the stress she's been going through for four months now has made her more and more exhausted, and when he came home, he found her like this, trying to read a book but falling asleep sitting down.

Her autumn red hair was up in a ponytail, as she always liked, and it was falling along her neck. Her fiery red eyes were currently closed, so her Sheikah mark was seen clearly. She looked content, all the signs of worry and stress completely gone.

"Your mother Cala here is very worried about you." He started to speak in soft tones again. "She is just as hopeful about you though. I'm scared too, you know. Scared something will happen to the both of you."

He tried to hold back tears at the thought of losing his wife and unborn child. "Just know that I'm going to be so proud of you, one day."

"Are you talking to the baby again?"

Her voice croaked. His eyes widened slightly. "How much did you hear?"

"Enough." She said, rubbing her sleep filled eyes. "Enough to know you're still the same person I met all that long ago." She smirked.

He chuckled, and placed his hand lightly over her stomach again. "I still can't believe I'm going to be a father."

"You're going to be a good one, Link. Just don't go running off all the time to save Zelda, she should be able to save herself now."

Link chuckled again. "You're definitely right. I promise I won't go to defend Hyrule unless I really have to."

Calamire smiled, her red eyes sparking with that fire they always have. "I'm just too selfish, aren't I?"

"Yep. But I'm selfish for you too."
