You were sat in the weapon workshop watching the vikings poor attempts to slay the dragons. You listened to their cries of anger as they ran towards a dragon. You sighed.
To be honest, fighting dragons was pretty stupid.
"C'mon (Name), you gotta help Hiccup over here!" Gobber's voice yelled at you. Groaning, you stood up and walked over to the boy. He was short, scrawny, compared to you, you actually looked quite bulky despite you were the weakest girl in the village. You two were the outcasts - Astrid would never stop picking on you, as well as Hiccup. But you didn't get along well with Hiccup. Or that's what you thought.
"Are we sharpening more swords today?" You asked with a dull voice.
"Yes, good guess! How did you know?" Gobber said with a grin as he started piling you and Hiccup with dented and broken swords.
"Because we've been doing that for the past four days." You said as you carried them over to the table.
Once Gobber was gone, Hiccup looked at you.
"By we you mean me because you've given me both shares of our work." He said, almost snarling at you.
"Exactly." You winked at him, stretching your arms and fingers. He simply rolled his eyes.
"Today I'm gonna teach you." He said, grabbing your wrist before you could sit down.
"Ugh, fine." You groaned in response. You slowly reached out for a sword, and started sharpening it out by...trying to bash it in with the rock?
"What are you doing?" He said. You stopped.
"I'm sharpening the sword." You said sarcastically.
"You've made it worse. Look." He said, and grabbed your hand. You could have sworn his cheeks dusted pink slightly. You took no notice.
"Gently, (Name)." He said, moving your hand to show you how it works.
He then muttered, "Idiot."
To which you responded, "Dork."
You both looked at each with wide eyes before you started laughing together.
That's surprisingly how your friendship began.

"Wait, Hiccup. You going to start training to fight dragons?!" You exclaimed. He nodded sadly.
"I don't want to fight dragons, though." He said, shrugging his shoulders.
"Really? Because the other week you were telling me that if you could kill a Gronkle, you would score a girlfriend." You said with a smirk.
"I--I never said that!" Hiccup said, his cheeks turning red. "Idiot."
"Dork." You replied.
This idiot-dork thing started to become a tradition between you two.

Whilst Hiccup continued his training, you practiced sharpening weapons at the station because you didn't approve of fighting dragons. Every day, Hiccup would stop by and tell you everything.
One day, however, you noticed that instead of heading to you, he was being swarmed by the other trainers: Snotlout, Fishlegs, Ruffnut and Tuffnut, but not Astrid.
"Why is everyone hanging with Hiccup all of a sudden?" You asked Gobber as you sent half-glares at them all.
"You should see him in training! He's got this way with the beasts." Gobber said excitedly. "He's become a celebrity!"
You tried to smile but if failed.

You sat alone at dinner that evening. Everyone was swarming Hiccup, so why bother trying to talk to him?
As you were thinking about this, a voice pulled you out of your thoughts.
"Name." Hiccup was standing in front of you. You jumped slightly.
"What?" You asked angrily.
"I need to show you something." He said, quickly pulling you out of your seat and out the hall.
"Where are we going?" You asked him once you were outside.
"I need to show you. But keep this a secret." He said.
Once you had reached the place, you were in a small area of land in the middle of the forest, next to a lake.
"I'm sorry Hiccup, but I don't under-" You tried to contain your shriek as a Night Fury came running towards you two.
"Woah, Toothless, calm down!" Hiccup said, trying to tame the dragon.
"You--you tamed a dragon?" You whispered.
"Yes. (Name), Toothless, Toothless, (Name)." Hiccup said.
"You're crazy."
"Idiot."
"Dork."

You stepped outside into the warm summer breeze. Cheers were erupting from all around. As usual, it was the weekly Dragon Racing. Once again you noticed Hiccup wasn't racing around with the others.
You walked over to your Deadly Nadder named Tirek and she bowed her head slightly when she saw you. Tirek was extremely loyal and pretty much saw you as her mother and queen.
"You seriously chose a Deadly Nadder as your dragon?" You heard a familiar voice behind you say.
"Yes, because now I'm not scared of heights and Tirek here is the most loyal dragon I have ever seen." You said, not even looking behind you.
"Idiot."
"Dork."
Yep, five years later this was still how you talk to each other.
Neither of you ever got bored of it.
Not even when you got married.
What?
You did!

Still { Hiccup x Reader } Part 4
Hiccup was pale, his bright green eyes now dim with worry as his hands trembled and patted Toothless's head. You sat next to Hiccup and pulled your feet up while scratching Toothless's chin, letting a small sigh leave your lips at his heavy breathing. Toothless had been like this for an hour now, and Hiccup was starting to blame himself for it, even though you pointed out that Toothless had wanted to help him fight the Silver Phantom. “It's all my fault.” Hiccup started again, hanging his head with a shameful sigh. “Toothless would be okay if it weren't for me.”
You shook your head and threw your arms around the young

Maybe, just maybe [Hiccup x Reader] 2/2
“5 years. 5 years and Berk looks just the same” A [h/c] haired girl mused while flying through the skies with a red eyed Woolly Howl. “We’re finally here Ruby” She said with a big smile.
5 years. Yes, that is the time I spent exploring the world. And I’ll tell you. I don’t regret a thing. Some would say that the reasons I left were stupid and that the way I solved things were the way a coward would. Maybe they’re right, maybe they’re not. Because you see, during this amazing trip I met Ruby, my loyal dragon.
She is a Woolly Howl, her appearance is similar to that of a Night Fury, but her

“Yeah.” You spoke quietly, gently running your hand over your unborn child. “It’s-it’s for the best.”
Gobber held your gaze for a few more moments. He then looked over at Astrid and sighed. A small smile tugged at both their lips. “We’ll miss ya, ya know.”
“I’ll miss you too.” You then pulled the rather robust man and skinny gi
