Daydream (Link X Reader)

"You're such a dork."

His crystal blue eyes blinked. "H-Huh?"

"Link, you've been staring at me for like 5 minutes now. I'm trying to explain something here!" You playfully scolded him. You flashed him a smile. "Anyway, like I was saying before..."

He was trying to pay attention, he really was. But everything about you was just so...enchanting to him. The way your eyes would sparkle and alight when you got excited whilst talking, the sweet curve of your lips when you smiled, the melody that was your voice, your laughter.

"...Link!!"

He blinked a few times, and was brought back into reality only to be taken away again by your overwhelming beauty.

"Do you know just how beautiful you are?"

He said it before he could think about what he was saying. His eyes widened and he slammed his hand over his mouth. You stared at him, mouth agape, before bursting into a fit of giggles, a pink blush adorning your cheeks.

"You're still a dork!! Even after what I was talking about and I told you to listen, you still don't listen!!" You said between giggles.

"..O-Only because you're just so...so..." He tried to finish his sentence, he really did, but the way you gave him the smile you reserved for him stole him.

"Sooo?" You said, grinning when he blushed. His eyes darted to your lips, and then back to your eyes.

"So..." He started again. He was trying to think of any word to fill in the gap, but he decided to show you. Using as much courage as he does when fighting evil, he gently grabbed your soft cheeks and collided his lips with yours.

It wasn't a rough, needy kiss, it was a gentle one, showing you all the words he wanted to use to describe you with.

"...Link?"

He blinked a few times again, and he was staring at you.

"Pay attention, will ya?!" You exclaimed with a smile, large book open in your hands. "You're blushing like mad and staring into space! What's wrong?"

"Huh? Oh, nothing, nothing." He said with a sigh. You gave him a smile before you continued talking again.

He sighed, resting his head against his hand.

Someday he'll tell you how beautiful you are.

And someday you'll tell him how much of a dork he is.
